In a post-season tune-up before heading off to the NCAA Division III Regionals, members of the John Jay cross-country teams dressed in superhero garb competed in the Nick Russo Halloween Classic 5K in Newark, N.J., on Sunday, Nov. 2, and in the process outran a team from "Hogwarts Academy" — actually, runners from Hunter College costumed as characters from the Harry Potter books.
